Our High School students attended Macbeth by The Baron’s Men at the mini Globe Theater.

What if a dark desire sprouted by jealousy, driven by aspiration, and resolve was brought to fruition with the aid of a passionate relationship? Macbeth a loyal warrior, is enticed by prophecy, and his loving wife to get what he believes he rightly deserves, to be king at any cost. To kill a king is sacrilege, to get away with murder... 

As the deed unfolds even his closest friend Banquo begins to suspect his noble friend. But as malice within Macbeth grows he will take no prisoners and those in his path will pay the price. But murder, can weigh heavily on one's conscious, one's thoughts waiver on what is moral. Lady Macbeth loves her husband, an intense relationship where she has multiple roles to play; lover, accomplice, and enchantress. 

But evil deeds will get their just desserts, and revenge is justifiable. As the state of Scotland spirals into darkness and chaos, a following grows for the former kings son, Malcolm who was to be king. As Macbeth's world crumbles around him he will succumb to his fate.
